As part of EPB’s commitments to our commercial energy service customers, we uphold the following Rules and Regulations which are set forth as part of our contract to distribute power from TVA:

To ensure that your electric rate reflects the actual cost of power, TVA includes a Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment which is driven by the market cost of the fuel used to generate your power. The Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment is mostly driven by fluctuations in the current cost of natural gas and coal.
